Canada spans six time zones, so the overlap depends on where your team sits. Toronto and Montreal get our afternoon against their morning; Vancouver and Calgary get a narrower window, which we cover with one fixed daily call and written updates for everything else.
What Canada clients usually need
Canadian briefs are often SaaS platforms and internal tooling for mid-sized companies, plus a steady stream of AI features being added to products that already have users. Public-sector-adjacent work comes up more here than in most markets.
Contracts, data, and compliance
We invoice in CAD or USD. PIPEDA obligations and provincial rules — Quebec's Law 25 in particular — come up early, so we document where personal data flows and default to Canadian or US data residency when it is required.
